Monthly Meetings are back!

     Monthly Meetings are back!  The Leadership Council kicked off the first Monthly Meeting in January.  A tremendous amount of work was done and each citizen who attended participated equally.  Remember there  is no quota this year.  So all you need to do to participate is show up.
 
     Guest speakers are coming to the Monthly Meetings in March, Ma. Represenitive and Seaconke Wampanoag Tribal freind Phillip Travis will be speaking about his personal adventures in searching for the Wampanoag Wampum belts taken from our decendent "Anawan".
 
     In other months, February - Mike Markley plans a presentation on tribal history, April - Seaconke Wampanoag Tribal freind and Commissioner of Indian Affairs for Bristol County Ma. Dr. Herbert Waters will be with us.  In May The Executive Director on Indian Affairs John Peters will be joining us to answer any questions you may have. 
 
   The Winter and Spring Monthly meetings are shaping up to be exciting events.  Don't forget first thing every meeting your number 1 issue Goals:  "1 Tribal land ownership, and #2 Education, Language, history, and  culture will be discussed.
 
 Coffee and Danish will be served every meeting, Our facility is warm, dry and comfortable.  Everyone is invited to attend the Monthly Meetings and bring a freind!
